Makita LS1040 260mm Mitre Saw
The Makita LS1040 combines high accuracy and a good level of cutting capacity with a very low weight (11kg) for maximum portability. The 1,650W brush motor provides more than enough power for all applications, including cutting aluminium (with the correct blade and adequate clamping).
The back fence, has pre-drilled holes for additional support plates. It features a pivoting section on the left hand side, which is movable to give the best support when cutting either steep or shallow bevels. The material clamp fits into any one of 4 positions for maximum convenience.
Supplied with dust bag, TCT blade, material clamp and service tools.
Axminster Trade Site Mitre Saw Stand
The Axminster Trade site mitre saw stand has rapid clamp tool mounts, allowing fast, easy and secure mounting of all brands of mitre saws, chop saws and most benchtop tools. Both material support rollers, feature flip-up stops for repeat cutting to length.
The quick release legs make setting up fast and taking down easy. The legs are telescopic to allow height adjustment or to be set properly on uneven ground on site. The non-marring feet will not scratch or mark floors. 200mm diameter rubber wheels easily deal with rough ground and kerbs.
The stand folds for transportation making it perfect for use from the van or in a small workshop.
