Excellent Pitching Chisel

I bought this pitching chisel and matching splitting chisel from Axminster Tools to cut and shape Mendip grey limestone for a wall. I already have a set of highly expensive tungsten carbide tipped chisels but wanted these chisels for lighter more detailed work. But to my surprise I find that the Axminster chisels to be very rugged and hold an edge well. They are also nice to handle. So now, unless dealing with large stones, I use the Axminster chisels for most stone work.

Highly recommended and very good value, and the icing on the cake Axminster only charged £1 for delivery and the chisels arrived the next day.
