Works very well.

When I read the reviews I very nearly did not buy this product , however I decided to give it a try and Im very pleased with the results.
It works perfectly on allsorts of tools including machine tools / blades / hand tools / hand planes. I would agrea it seems a little expensive although Im sure this tin will last me a long time and costs only pennies to treat each item, would definatly recomend this product.

Not much use.

I've been using this product over the winter in my garage workshop. Tools cleaned and covered with this have rusted up faster than those where I've just used machine table lubricating wax.
Overall poor performance, hence poor value and I wouldn't buy any more.

MetalGuard Ultra anti-rust coating

I have now tried this material over two winters and find its performance to be extremely disappointing. On several evenings when condensation could be foreseen, I re-sprayed the equipment in my workshop with MetalGuard. 48 hours later, every previously bright machine table, chuck, etc, was covered with rust spots.
WD40 is considerably more effective, and much cheaper.
