Not bad but could so easily be much better

This is a large machine for a vacuum and on the heavy side. I was not pleased to find that it has bags which need to be replaced as this leaves one open to be made to pay over the odds for replacements. There is a clever system for refreshing blocked bags by reversing the air flow for a few seconds. It seems to work ok but my first job for this machine was sanding freshly dried plaster and so the machine began to choke fairly fast meaning this needed to be done often. In fact I think the machine is pretty good and powerful. My real complaint is that when used with a Ceros 650 there is NOWHERE to house the transformer on the machine apart from on the top where the handle is. There are places that are nearly big enough which could so easily have been made to accommodate the transformer. In my view this amounts to poor design.
All in all I am fairly happy with the 915L but as I purchased it specifically to go with the Ceros 650 I expected it to be designed for it. There are many other vacuum machines out there that might be just as good or better and there is no real need to stick to the brand in this case.
