This two part glue is totally waterproof when dry (it is a resorcinol/phenol/formaldehyde glue). It can be used for a wide range of applications including bonding of normally difficult timbers such as teak or preservative treated timbers. It is used extensively for marine applications as it can withstand continuous immersion in water. Also suitable for structural timber, laminating roof members and form work. Tack time 10 - 30 mins, cure time 4 hours dependent on working temperature. Liquid resin and hardener supplied together 670g. (Formerly known as Cascaphen/Extraphen).
|Setting Time||8-12 hours|

Excellent, Dependable, Long shelf lifeI bought two packs of this glue about 5 years ago (maybe more). I've just finished the last of it (well, I've a little resin left but no hardner!) and it has survived well in an unheated workshop. It's expensive but I've never had it fail. It's much easier to use than epoxy as the full clamping pressure is easier to achieve than ensuring enough epoxy is in the joint. I trust there's been no change in the formulation with the change of name.

use quicklyUsed it once, great results, but went to use it a year later & the hardener had dried solid. Was stored well.
