Axminster Dale Nish Modified Live Centre

Dale Nish came up with a great design to improve centring at the tail stock end of your lathe a while ago. We have been making these for him since then, he has now given us permission to sell them direct to you. Dissatisfied with the standard 60 degree cone he modified the first 8mm of point to 20° giving better penetration in to the wood and reducing the wedge effect as you apply pressure to hold the spindle in place.
