Axminster Four Student Workbench

The Axminster Four Student workbench as illustrated features a solid beech draw bolted surround 50mm thick,1200mm long and 305mm wide. The tray unit in the middle can be turned over to form a flush top. This gives a work surface 1200mm square. The regular under frame is bolted and dowelled to legs made from 75mm beech giving great rigidity. The timber is kiln dried to suit average workshop conditions and in very dry conditions shrinkage can be taken up on the bolts. The bench is fitted with four York 175mm quick release woodwork vices, fitted with wooden jaw face plates. For multi-media workshops, 100mm York mechanic's vices can be supplied on pads to clamp into the jaws of the woodwork vices when required. The under frame may be fitted with one or two cupboard units, giving up to four individual cupboards, one opening on each face as an optional extra.
When left bare, the frame can accommodate students seated on stools or in wheelchairs on two sides.
This unit comes un-assembled, instructions for assembly are included. As an option, an assembly service can be provided at extra cost.
