Ideal for trusses, decking, framing and sheeting Fast loading magazine with load sight Rubberised grip for user comfort Supplied c/w safety goggles, service tools and lubrication oil
Axminster Framing Nailer
A heavy duty site-use tool, just the job for trusses, decking, framing and sheeting. The FN2890D fires collated clipped head nails from 50mm to 90mm with a diameter from 2.9mm minimum, to 3.3mm maximum. The unit is very solid and has a fast loading magazine with load sight and maximum capacity of 84 nails (2 strips). The handle has a rubberised grip for user comfort, especially useful on cold mornings and a variable position exhaust vent. The unit is supplied with 2 triggers to allow single action firing only (to prevent a double firing) or the faster bump feed firing action. Much lighter than other types of this size due to its magnesium alloy casing, this is a much improved, new design. Also comes supplied with safety goggles, service tools and lubrication oil.
Please note that this nail gun requires a compressor capable of delivering 7cfm minimum. The tool has a 1/4" BSP female inlet; refer to the Airline Fittings section for details of suitable airlines and fittings.

A good tool
"This nailer works well - especially considering the price. The magazine is huge though (it'll take around 4 clips of nails) so is somewhat restrictive for tight studwork. I would prefer a smaller magazine - 2 clips would be plenty. One other negative is that although is _does_ come with a PCL connector (despite the description) its not a good one and leaks air. Therefore unless this is improved you'll need to replace it with item code 100313 - since doing that mine has been leak free."
