Axminster Ian Wilkie Light Pull Drive
Making light pulls is a good way of using up odd scraps of timber as well as earning as bit of money at craft fairs. This version of the Ian Wilkie friction drive with its four mounting diameters can be used for turning a whole range of small components in addition to light pulls. Sufficient pressure can be applied between a revolving tailstock centre and the chamfered driving surfaces to allow light cuts to be made. When making light pulls it is recommended that a 3mm long series drill is used to drill the hole for the string and a 6mm counterbore provided for housing the knot neatly out of sight. Available in two sizes, 1MT and 2MT.
