Axminster Plus CSR-18 Cut Off Saw 450mm

An Industrial quality 450mm cut-off saw with many class leading features. Extremely robust build quality matched with outstanding performance and comprehensive safety features. The pneumatically operated safety screen, in the case of the operator's hand approaching the cutting area and touching this safety device, the clamp will raise and the blade will lower instantly to prevent the operator being injured. It is fitted with double start switches, the machine can be operated only when the double start switches are pressed simultaneously by the operator's hands. This design prevents either hand from entering the cutting area. An automatic stop switch on the side door of the machine cabinet can be opened for convenient blade changing and is protected by an automatic stop switch to stop the motor immediately. The machine is powered by a 5.6kW 3ph motor and is equipped with a 450mm cross cut blade. There are adjustments to control the speed of the cutting cycle to accommodate different sizes and hardness of timbers. The saw can cut boards up to 325mm wide or up to 100mm thick, with a maximum width/depth combination of 275 x 100mm. This is a highly productive, solidly built industrial machine, which will give many years of service in a small production workshop.
NB : A small air supply is required to operate this machine, a compressor with a 50l tank size will be sufficient. Recommended power supply is 32A 3ph. Infeed and outfeed conveyor tables are available as optional extras. Supplied with 120 tooth blade (3.4mm kerf). Optional extras include, both infeed and outfeed conveyor roller table. Each is 2400mm long and fitted with adjustable feet to ensure exact levelness with the saw's table.
