Axminster Plus SBW5300 Bandsaw

This is the mid sized version of the Axminster Plus range and offers larger cutting capacities with a full 510mm(20") maximum cutting width. The powerful, braked motor is also available in 415V 3ph to offer smoother and more reliable long term performance. Manufactured in welded steel and cast iron to a very high standard, the SBW5300 is fitted with an emergency stop switch and safety interlocked doors for safe operation. Features include cast iron wheels, two blade speeds, heavy duty bearing blade guides throughout, mitre fence, well engineered rip fence with full length rails, easy to read magnifying scale and a very rigid, large cast iron table with tilt adjustment of -10° to + 45° carried out by a rack and pinion mechanism for ease of adjustment. Blade changing is made easy with a quick release blade tensioning lever which speeds up the blade changing process greatly. This machine offers the ideal solution for the larger workshop or manufacturing facility at an economical cost. We also offer an upgraded model especially developed for use in Educational establishments. This upgraded bandsaw is fully compliant with both the requirements of BS 4163:2006 and PUWR98 regulations.
