Axminster SIEG C6B Variable Speed Lathe

A well made home workshop lathe with a host of useful features, including the convenience of electronically variable spindle speed. The 125mm centre height and 550mm centre distance give the capacity for turning some above-average sized components. Other features of note are the four-way indexing tool post with 20mm tool capacity, transverse adjustment on the tailstock for fine taper turning, integral rear splash guard and choice of two leadscrew speeds and metric and imperial screw cutting capability. The metric pitches are 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 1.0, 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, 2.0, and 2.5 and the imperial TPIs are 10, 14, 19, 20, 22, 40 and 44.The lathe is supplied with a 125mm three jaw chuck and there is a four jaw independent chuck available as an accessory as well as fixed and travelling steadies and a 220mm diameter faceplate. Also available is a cabinet stand with built-in drip tray which stands 710mm high and has base dimensions of 280 x 985mm.
