Magnum Rafter Angle Square

This really is a gem of a square - 300mm long, made from extruded aluminium with a thickness of 5mm and with lipped edges for positive location against the edge of the timber. The markings are pressed deeply into the surface so that there is no chance of them ever rubbing off. The vertical edge has markings up to 12", the long edge is marked in degrees from zero to 90° and there are notches along the long side for marking off parallel lines at 1/4" intervals. On top of all this, there are inch-per-foot scales for the accurate marking out of cuts on common, hip and valley rafters. Supplied with the square is a 48 page book which gives chapter and verse instructions on the use of both rafter and roof layout squares. An absolute must for every keen carpenter.
