Maxion Work Clamp

A particularly ingenious device which will fit not only the Maxion drill stand, but also any other stand with a 40mm diameter column. The clamp is lowered until its forks rest on the workpiece then a slight turn of the handle causes a cam to rotate, pressing the forks down and firmly clamping the workpiece to the table. Work should always be held firmly in place when drilling, usually done with a drill vice, but the Maxion clamp is a quick and convenient alternative. We give this ten out of ten for being a practical, inexpensive, well designed and made clamping accessory.
