The six sections cover: joints, fastenings and fittings, doors, frames and panelling, joinery design and ornament, house fitments, church fittings and ship joinery. A few of the terms may not be familiar but are made clear by the excellent line drawings. An extensive source of information for a wide variety of specialized work, the book is fascinating to read whether or not you intend to do this type of work.
