Axminster AWBB Floor Standing Bandsaw

The Axminster AWBB is a first class bandsaw, fabricated from heavy gauge steel sheet and with a very substantial cast iron table, which could well be the perfect machine for the keen hobby woodturner or woodworker wishing to move up from one of the smaller bench-mounted machines. The depth of cut will cater for the majority of bowl-turning blanks and the width for a whole range of general workshop tasks. All the features of a good quality bandsaw are present: tilting work table and generous aluminium extruded fence, ball bearing guides for firm blade support, a good standard of blade guarding, rubber-tyred die-cast aluminium blade wheels and a 96mm dust outlet. Two additional points worthy of a mention are the facility to change the blade speed by just swapping the drive belt from one set of pulleys to another and the heavy duty steel stand which comes as standard with the machine.
