Provides ball bearing supports at rear and sides of blade Improved support reduces blade vibration Gives cleaner, more accurate cut Complete set of upper and lower assemblies with bearings
Bandsaw Blade Guide System Upgrade
This guide assembly provides ball bearing supports at the rear and on the sides of the blade in place of the more usual rubbing blocks. The improved support will reduce blade vibration and give a cleaner and more accurate cut. For and aft movement of both rear and side bearings is controlled by screws and the bearings themselves are mounted on eccentric bosses for precise setting of the blade clearance. Supplied as a complete set of upper and lower assemblies complete with bearings. The diameter of the mounting hole in the top casting is 22mm. When fitting these guides to your machine some modification may be needed.
Bandsaw guide upgrade
"A beautifully made product which fitted my Jet JBS-14 bandsaw without problem. The only modification needed was to use the old (larger diameter) rear upper bearing. If your lower rubbing block assembly fits on a flat surface and the upper fits to a 22mm or near (machined or sleeved) then it's a worthwhile modification."

Blade Guide Upgrade
"This product fits the Poolewood 1402 type bandsaw (14" wheel, cast iron frame) without modification and is a worthwhile upgrade. Settings should remain accurate for longer and adjustment of the lower blade guides is simplified. The only drawbacks - the upper thrust bearing is smaller in diameter than the one it replaces, and the mounting point for the short blade guard below the table is lost."
