Axminster Four-sided Woodworking Bench

This is a heavy duty foursided woodworking bench made of quality kiln dried beech wood. The top is 1200mm square by 40mm deep, the legs are 70mm square, the four horizontals are 40 by 70mm and the whole assembly is bolted together to form a very rigid structure. There is a 600mm square recess in the top which is filled by a reversible tray; this tray either lies flush with the surface to give additional working space or, when reversed, acts as a tool well. This square style of bench can be very useful when working on furniture and similar large items. The cupboard units, each of which has two separate lockable compartments, can be fitted either singly or in pairs and there is provision for mounting quick release woodworking vices on any of the four sides.
