Axminster Mount Cutter & Guides

The Axminster Mount Cutter features two blades and combines 90° and 45° cutting operations in the same tool. Both blades are retractable for safety's sake. The cutter can be used in conjunction with any good quality straight edge but we would recommend the use of one of the guides listed below for best results. The body of the cutter has grooves on its underside, which match a similar groove on the edge of the guide and when the cutter is moved along the guide a perfectly straight cut is guaranteed. The guides are provided with a metric scale on one edge and a special non-slip insert strip on the underside. The cutter is supplied with five blades.
