Festool EHL 65 E-Plus Planer
The spirally ground solid carbide blade gives a shear cutting action across the width of the planer block resulting in a very fine finish. With a maximum cutting depth of 4mm (accurately controlled in 0.1mm steps), this is no lightweight when it comes to waste removal either, as one would expect from Festool the standard of engineering is quite exceptional. Although using only a single blade, the balance of the cutter block is very fine reducing vibration to a minimum. Changing the blade is simple and no further settings are required. The overall size and layout of the planer make it very easy to use single-handed.
