Jet 16-32 Plus Drum Sander

This is a medium capacity drum sander which will finish boards up to 810mm wide (in two passes) by 75mm thick. The extruded aluminium drum is precision machined and balanced for minimum vibration. Used with care the machine can achieve a thickness tolerance of 0.25mm across the full width of the drum and the combination of variable speed conveyor belt drive and a fine abrasive can result in a really first class finish with even the most difficult of timbers. The abrasive loading is wound spirally around the drum and held in position with spring loaded clips, both secure and easy to change. The height adjustment handle works in 0.1mm increments, giving very close control over both the finish and thickness of the timber.
Accessories available include a pair of extension tables for handling longer lengths of timber, an alternative rubber coated conveyor belt and a set of four lockable wheels.
Supplied with floor stand, 80 grit abrasive loading, 100 grit feed belt, box of loadings and loading insertion tool.
