Jet Wetstone Axe Jig

For best results an axe needs to have both sides ground evenly and equally. This can prove quite tricky to achieve by hand, but with this jig both sides can be ground to an 'as new' factory evenness and at the same time achieving the keenest of edges, without the danger of overheating the metal. Side axes can also be sharpened, by grinding one bevel with the tool rest set for the initial bevel and then raised for the 'offside' bevel.
