Axminster 400mm Electric Chainsaw
A general purpose electric chainsaw, fitted with Oregon bar, for use around the garden. All the usual safety features are incorporated - quick stop blade, safety lock-on trigger switch to prevent accidental actuation and inertia blade brake. Blade lubrication is from an oil reservoir with a filler cap on top of the machine.

"Clearly this is a budget tool with the home user in mind and nowadays that description includes me. Very easy assembly meant I had it in use 20 mins after getting it out of the box. Very easy operation, very inoffensive kick-back (that's good if you've never used a chain saw before!), not to loud and of course it does the job. I've just finished taking down some evergreens with 8 to 10 inch trunks and in doing so I was surprised just how well it managed. Bare in mind if you haven't used a chain saw before get someone who has to show you how to use it safely."

"This is a budget chainsaw, however I was surprised how good it is. It has a powerful electric motor has coped very well with the logging I have got it to do. The armature sparks quite a lot and I was expecting it to burn out fairly quickly but it hasn't. So far so good, if you are looking for a budget chainsaw then this is such a machine."
