Axminster 300mm Braked Disc Sanding Station

To go to our customers such as Schools, Colleges and Training Establishments where you might have different requirements we have taken our ever popular 300mm disc sander and fitted a fail safe electro magnetic brake to bring the disc to a stop in under 10 seconds. The brake is of the fail safe type in that it does not require power to work and will automatically operate even in the event of a power failure within the workshop. The sander is fabricated from steel with an aluminium tilting table, cast alloy sanding disc , brightly coloured safety quadrant guard and has a mitre fence to allow the sanding of accurate angles. A 560W motor provides very quiet running along with plenty of power. The no volt release switch is of the emergency stop, latching safety mushroom type and the sander has a convenient 63mm extraction port. This sander has then been coupled with our DT500 Extraction Station to give a safe, dedicated sanding station. The station is designed to help those schools where the safety of the pupils is of paramount importance.
