Axminster Chatter-Free Countersink

No-one knows where the name 'snail countersink' came from - maybe it was the shape of the shavings produced. Made from high speed steel, brilliant on wood but can be used on metal, even stainless steel. They are a joy to use, chatter-free and leave a clean polished countersunk hole. For best results when countersinking metals always use a small dab of cutting paste.
