Axminster M600 Woodturning Lathe

A sturdy cast iron fixed head lathe with a capacity of 580mm between centres. It is fitted with a smooth running 350W induction motor which transmits the drive to the spindle via a choice of 6 pulley combinations. Belt tension is easily adjusted with the aid of the quick-action motor clamp and there are cam-locks on both the tool rest and the tailstock. The fact that it shares the same 1" x 8tpi (ref TO4M) spindle thread and 2MT drives, gives a good indication of its strength; although small in size it is well built and capable of producing some excellent results. Supplied complete with four prong drive centre, live tailstock centre, 150mm tool rest with camlock action and 80mm faceplate.
