Axminster Professional Tape

The Axminster Professional tape is built to last. It features a steel blade with a non reflective finish and large easily read figures, graduated in millimetres and inches. The case is cast alloy with rubber inserts for an improved grip and as bump protection. The end hook is triple riveted and reinforced to the blade, two rare earth magnets in end hook allow easy usage with steel work. The tape hook is also designed to hold over an edge with the tape flat or on either edge for greater accuracy when marking out. A slide button at the front of the case locks the blade, whilst a blade brake button below the case is easily operated with the user's index finger, a rubber bump stop also helps prevent damage to the end hook on retraction. The case is also provided with a belt clip and wrist strap.
