Bosch DLE 50 Professional Laser Rangefinder
This is the smallest professional laser rangefinder in its class. It fits perfectly in any shirt pocket (only 58 x 32 x 100mm) or it can be carried in its belt pouch. The DLE 50 measures with great precision with an accuracy of ±1.5mm over 30m (or just five hundredths of a millimetre per metre). Its functions include: linear measurement, area and volume calculations, memory for cumulative measurements and height using Pythagoras. Measurements can be made in either metric or imperial. Supplied with: soft protective belt pouch, wrist strap and 4 x 1.5V AAA batteries.

A useful feature is the pythag function that lets you calculate a vertical height (or sidways run)having measured your distance to the base and the top.
