Scutch Hammers

Available in two styles, either single or double scutch. Used by bricklayers for fitting brick or stone work prior to laying and for dressing brick and stone work prior to rendering. A single scutch hammer has an enamelled head with one polished striking face and the other end features a slot, into which either a replaceable double ended chisel bit can be placed or a double ended reversible comb bit. The double scutch has two slotted ends. Both types of hammer have hickory handles and are supplied with one chisel and one comb bit.
