Lie-Nielsen Plane Socks
These socks are made from a stretch knitted fabric specially impregnated with rust inhibitors. They are used to protect expensive and much-loved planes, and other tools, from corrosion as well as giving some extra protection from knocks and bumps when in the toolbox. Available in four sizes to cover all block planes and bench planes from smoothers to joiners. They could also be hung from the mantelpiece in late December in the hope that a certain white-haired gentleman might call and fill them with a Lie-Nielsen plane.
