Makita 2704 255mm Saw Bench with Adjustable Stand
This table saw is built to withstand the rigours of the workshop but is equally at home on the site. Available in both 110V and 240V this is a true industrial quality machine, high rigidity delivering accurate cutting. A telescopic guide rail on the right and telescopic rear support give the 2704 the capacity to rip an 8ft x 4ft sheet. Fitted with electronic soft start, no volt release and electronic blade brake. Supplied with 40 tooth TCT blade, rip fence, push stick and wrenches. The stand is made from high quality tubular steel and comes fully assembled except for the base plate which can be easily attached using the two nuts and bolts supplied. There are five height settings (260mm - 630mm) the lowest one effectively turning the stand into a sack barrow for easy transportation. The stand and saw can then be stored on its end using the flat base for limited storage environments. The height of the stand can be easily adjusted thanks to the gas rams weight assistance mechanism while the levelling feet ensure perfect all round ground contact.

Makita 2704 Saw Bench with adjustable stand
"A great investment for home or site work. Well made and a positive slide fence that works smoothly. Robust machine that will do all you ask of it. On the down side i would have to say beware when lowering the machine, the weight can catch you unawares as it did me in the showroom. My back has not been the same since, believe me this is a heavy weight bit of kit. My only other niggle would be that to cut a slot in timber as i need to at times, i find it annoying that you have to remove the riving knife and safety cover to do this. Dangerous i know! but annoying all the same."
