Perform CCBG Bench Grinder
An excellent smooth running, low cost bench grinder suitable for any home workshop, especially where sharpening of hand or woodturning tools is required. On one side of the grinder is a 36 grit coarse grey aluminium oxide grinding wheel and on the other an 80 grit white stone especially suited to the grinding of hand tools. With adjustable rests, spark arrestors and eye shields all of good quality it represents very good value for money as, of course, do all Perform machines and accessories. Wheel diameter 150mm(6"), bore size of the wheel is 12.7mm(1/2").

"Hey for a cost so far that works out at less that £5.00 a year. This does what it says on the tin. I have had mine 6 years now and it hasnt missed a beat. Good budget machine. I really should be looking at replacing the discs as it has had a lot of abuse. But they still sharpen so i am reluctant to change them. I use it for sharpening woodturning tools and also..general stuff.
I cant fault it to be honest. Its a motor that spins with a chunk of sharpening medium on each end. What more do you need as a beginner. ( 7 years woodturning )
