Skil 550 Wire, Pipe & Stud Detector

This multi-functional model 550 instantly shows where metal structures, live electric wires and metal plumbing pipes are located; inside walls or behind panelling, in short this detects wood, ferrous and non ferrous materials along with live wires. In this way drilling into these materials and damage can be avoided. A special focus function gives increased lateral accuracy. This makes it possible for you to exactly locate metal and wood objects. A convenient marking hole in the detector makes it easy to mark the location of the hidden objects. Detection depths are as follows: ferrous metal up to 80mm, copper 60mm, electrical cables 50mm, and timber 20mm bellow the surface.
