Timber Check Moisture Meter
This is a very straightforward and easy to use meter built to the most durable standard with all the electronics encased in an ABS casing. The two pins are pressed about 5mm into the timber and the moisture content is read off the scale at the other end.
The readings range from 6% (or under), 7%, 8%, 9%, 10%, 11%, 12%, 14%, 18%, 22%, 25% (or over) with an accuracy of ±2% in the very highest range. The meter is supplied with some extremely comprehensive instructions which include species adjustment tables for most timbers likely to be encountered.
