The
Table
Made of vibration absorbing stable MDF, the worktable is surfaced with an impact
resistant high-pressure laminate incorporating an Easy-Slide™ Micro-Dot
coating to provide smooth movement of your timber across the table. Your router,
whatever the make, is mounted to the phenolic resin insert plate, which drops
into the table aperture. Four under-mounted levelling supports provide perfect
parity with the table surface and insert rings enable close support with various
size cutters.
The Fence
Central to this router table is the self-aligning fence. Manufactured
from aircraft grade box section anodised aluminium, you are assured
of accuracy - set your measurement on the scale precisely with
the magnified cursor, lock down with the cam lock handle and that
is what you get at the cutter face.It comes with the certainty
that the fence is parallel and true for its full length without
the need to double-check every time. The bearing faces of the fence
are independently adjustable to accommodate cutter size and the
out-feed face has an offset adjustment to take up the differential
when you take a full depth cut from your work. The offset dust
extraction port is located for maximum efficiency when connected
to a suitable extractor.
The Base
Height adjustable (787mm to 914mm) the steel frame, which supports
and braces this router table, provides a very stable base on which
to work. Each leg has a levelling foot to make sure that even if
your floor isn’t, your router table will be level and stand
firm foursquare. Integral steel bars act as reinforcement to the
tabletop to keep it flat and true and give that confidence-building
solid feel to the whole structure of your work platform.
