CMT Enlock 1 Butterfly Lock System
CMT-Enlock1 system makes quick, secure joints with your router available for many assembly jobs without the need for complicated cut joints. The Enlock-1 jig holds the timber components and guides your router to produce the pockets for the butterfly / dovetail key inserts. Just tap home the inserts across the join to hold the components together and lock in place by inserting the special cap which expands the dovetail key. This will form a good 'T', Butt or Mitre joint in double quick time which can be left as a dry assembly, which could be dismantled if required or as a glued joint for extra durability using the inserts to eliminate the need for clamping the joins. The jig will accept timber 30 - 75mm wide and 19 - 35mm thick and comes complete with 50 CMT-Enlock 10 (9.5mm) keys and instruction manual but you will need to purchase the appropriate router cutter separately for the size key.
