Jet Wetstone Honing Compound

A 50g tube is supplied as standard with each new machine, but this extra fine honing paste is just as good to use to charge any leather strop so it's just as well it's available separately. Smear a little onto the Jet Wetstone leather honing wheel (less is required than imagined) and apply a freshly ground tool, trailing the edge with the direction of rotation. With just minimal pressure, a polished razor edge will soon appear. This honing can be repeated several times before the tool requires regrinding.
