Rojek KPF300 Saw & Spindle Moulder

This is one of those machines that when first introduced many years ago became one of the most popular machines used in Europe but never really caught on in the UK. Once known as the cabinet makers combination, the combination of a circular saw and a spindle moulder into the same machine is an excellent way of saving space in your workshop and was first designed with the up and coming carpenter that needed better more specialised machinery but did not have the space. By utilising the same rigid cast iron table to house both the spindle moulder and saw you get two machines in one and how often do you want to saw timber whilst moulding and vice versa? By keeping the Planer thicknesser a separate machine two workers can be gainfully employed at the same time, one cutting or moulding and the other planing to size. When fitted with either of the two sliding tables accurate crosscuts and tenons can be produced with ease and changing from saw to moulder is very quick and simple. Both parts of the machine is fitted with 100 mm diameter dust extraction ports and when connected to a suitable extraction system will provide a good working environment. New for this year is the router cutter adaptor part no 796122 that threads into the top of the spindle and will take 1/2" shank router cutters so if you have larger diameter cutters these can also be used. All in all this is an often overlooked machine for the smaller workshop.
