Axminster M330 Woodturning Lathe

A sturdy cast iron fixed head lathe with very similar specifications to the M600 apart from the 280mm between centres capacity. The M330 is an excellent choice for the kitchen table turner and has also become a great favourite with the craft fair demonstrators who find it small and light enough to transport in the boot of the car. It is fitted with a smooth running 350W induction motor which transmits the drive to the spindle via a choice of 6 pulley combinations. Belt tension is easily adjusted with the aid of the quick-action motor clamp and there are cam-locks on both the tool rest and the tailstock. The fact that it shares the same 1" x 8tpi spindle thread and 2 Morse taper drives as the larger M900 lathes gives a good indication of its strength; although small in size it is well built and capable of producing some excellent results. Supplied complete with four prong drive centre, live tailstock centre, 150mm tool rest with camlock action and 80mm faceplate.
