Axminster Tile Cutter with Laser Line & Stand
The Axminster Tile Cutter includes a leg stand allowing work to be carried out at a comfortable height and is capable of cutting both wall and floor tiles etc. It features a smooth gliding and tough induction motor, running on four bearings in a rigid extruded aluminium track. A laser line generator clearly shows the path of the blade for aligning cutting line. The cutting length is up to a maximum 560mm and the track features adjustable stops for precise partial cuts. The machine is supplied with a 200mm diamond cutting blade for a fast, clean and efficient cutting action. The cutting disc is cooled by a small integral pump with a constant supply of water from the reservoir below the cutting table for extended periods in a dust free atmosphere. A mitre fence controls angle cuts between 0° and 45° and tilting the motor guide rail gives bevel cutting to 45° and opens the possibility for compound angle cutting.

"I assembled this last night and set it straight to work. I must say i don't think i've ever been so impressed. It makes Tiling a real pleasure and would recommend anyone to by this."

Robust & Precise
"A great bit of kit
Fiddly at first to set the fence up and align the laser, but once done it makes cutting intricate shapes easy. It is very solidly constructed, especially the over-table guide rail the motor & blade is mounted on is rock solid. The table area is very large so large floor tiles, even cutting them on an angle, is well supported. One very tiny design feature which is not very smart is the legs screw on, prior to filling the water tray - so it is not quick to collapse at the end of the day or job. Otherwise thoroughly recommend it. "

Very, very disappointing
"Have to disagree with the previous review. This machine, badged as Axminster, is identical to the Einhell and others all presumably made in the same factory in China. The fence is almost impossible to adjust to square, the blade is buckled and vibrates badly, the motor unit is loose with the sliding track, the water pipe was cruched and had to be repaired, the saw is mounted off square and no amount of adjustment can make it cut true - it passes through the tile at a slight angle to it which tends to force the blade away from the line. "But it has a laser!" I hear you say. The laser can be adjusted to show where the blade will cut - but not much use if the whole thing wanders. Axminster Power Tools - this machine has your name on it! Where's your quality control? If I sold someone a tool like this I would feel embarrassed. Perhaps my machine is a Friday afternoon job. Maybe you will be luckier. I absolutely can't reccommend this machine in any respect - even on price."
