CMT Hinge Boring Bits

Professional quality bits, tipped with tungsten carbide for fast, clean and precise drilling of holes for cupboard door hinges. These bits are well suited for use on man made materials and are greatly recommended for use on MDF where a clean hole is not always easy to obtain. Twin tungsten carbide cutting scribes also mean this bit performs equally well in natural timbers, veneered and laminated boards. The sizes offered cover pretty much the range of hinges currently available, 35mm being the most common. For use in boring machines equipped with suitable adaptors or a chuck, pillar drills, and power drills using a suitable drill guide. (Do not attempt to use these bits in a hand held power drill without a guide). All bits have 10mm shanks.
