High-Quality Mechanical Design
On all T60 models, important mechanical components such as the sliding table, the crosscut fence, and the rip fence are made of high-quality material and are very durable. The rip fence runs on a bearing to give smooth operation set manually by the scale on the T60 basic but on the T60 classic the cutting width can be adjusted with a handwheel from the operators normal working position using the digital display on the integrated control panel. The sliding table is designed as you would expect from a Martin machine: with a replaceable table lip and stable, highly-ribbed hollow-chamber profiles. The crosscut fence features smooth operation of the fence carriage and standard fine adjustment of the length stops, vital for precise cuts. The standard equipment of the T60 Classic comprises a protective hood for saw blades with a diameter of up to 400mm. The T60 Basic supports a maximum blade diameter of 315mm and has a blade guard at the riving knife. The Basic model enables cutting heights of up to 80mm, the T60 Classic allows you to cut material of a thickness of up to 130mm.The saw blade of the T60 Basic is powered by a 4kW (5.5HP) motor with 5000rpm. The T60 Classic motor offers three speeds and a 5.5kW (7.5HP) power. Another difference between the two machines is the cutting-width adjustment: on the T60 Basic, the cutting width is set manually by means of a scale; on the T60 Classic, this can easily be done by means of a hand wheel from the operator position, using the digital display integrated in the control. On the new T60 PreXision the saw blade can also be tilted by 46° to the left, resulting in a unique total cutting-angle range of 92°.
Double Cutting-Angle Range
The doubling of the cutting-angle range provides a boundless variety of new possibilities. Cuts that used to be difficult or impossible to realise with a circular saw can now be made easily using the T60 PreXision.
Perfect Mitre Cuts
Thanks to this patented innovation, you can now use the crosscut fence and the rip fence on the T60 PreXision to execute every mitre cut in the ideal way for you and the finished piece of work. You are the one to decide how the job is going to be managed, not the machine. T60 PreXision gives you this unique advantage. Modern touchscreen control, the function menus are specifically adapted to the capabilities of the T60 PreXision and increase the performance range of the machine. The basic three functions: blade height, blade tilt and rip fence are all positioned by electric motors at the touch of a button. The touch screen control can do even more though; it provides intuitive menus that guide you through the work process and an integrated calculator aids working out of entering dimensions.
Patented Innovation: 2 x 46° Tilting
With its T60 PreXision, Martin is the first manufacturer to enable the saw blade to be tilted up to 46° to the right and to the left. Thanks to the total angle range of 92°, you can now use the crosscut fence and the rip fence to execute every mitre cut in line with the requirements of the respective process and workpiece.
Optimum Mechanical Design
On all T60 models, important mechanical components such as the sliding table, the crosscut fence and rip fences are made of high-quality very durable materials. The rip fence runs on a ball bearing and can be adjusted directly from the operator's position, the same as on the T60. The T60 PreXision can take blades between 300 and 315mm in diameter and has a maximum cutting height of 72mm. To give optimum view of the work piece being cut, the T60 PreXision has a transparent blade guard on the riving knife. Thanks to its unique, entirely tool free V-lock quick release system, the main saw blade can be replaced within seconds. The touch screen control has a tool menu for ten tools so the cutting height and width do not need to be referenced after replacing the blade.
The T60 PreXision can be equipped with an optional scoring unit whose height and position can be easily set whilst the machine is running
