Safe, simple, this must be the fastest method possible to produce a square hole in masonry for electrical sockets or switch boxes. Drill a 6mm hole in the centre box's intended location, and then with an SDS+ hammer drill set to rotary/hammer, use the round cutter to remove the bulk of the waste to the desired depth. Set the drill to the hammer only setting and use the square cutter to take out the corners, leaving a near perfect square recess for the electric box in a matter of minutes. In hard materials such as engineering brick the hard material chisel is used in place of the square cutter. Also available is a Super Set parts as per the Hard Material Set but with additions: a double box square cutter, 30mm channelling chisel, 5 x 6.0X160 SDS drill and a double cutter template. Both sets include a dust extraction hood for the round cutter, which when coupled to a suitable extractor minimises the amount of brick dust in the work environment.
