These 400mm long series (flute length 320 mm) Auger Bits are produced in Germany using a high quality alloy tool steel. They are ideal for drilling longer lengths quickly and in thicker work pieces for cabling and pipe work access. The threaded centre point pulls the Auger Bit through the wood bringing the counter cutting edge into play. Supplied with an hexagonal shank for positive locking in the drill chuck. Recommended drilling speed 500 - 800 rpm.
