Martin T12 Spindle Moulder

Spindle moulders are one of the most important machines in a productive workshop, and this entry level Martin T12 has all the features you could wish for in a small production machine.
With a perfect balance between price and performance, this machine features the eye level Touch-Screen control system with its intuitive controls and self explanatory symbols together with the easy to understand menu structure, making measuring and setting up so much easier and contributing to a clear reduction in setting-up times. The Touch-Screen system can save and manage data for up to 500 tools and 100 settings. Extra data can be stored off machine using the USB interface. A new compound frame structure with an intelligent use of steel and concrete resulting in a heavy, robust and above all, vibration absorbing frame forms the basis for the heavy cast iron top and superbly mounted cutting spindle, guaranteeing first class results.
The T12's fence offers a bi-lateral guidance system, which allows a repetition accuracy of +/- 0.025m that is unique amongst machines of this size. In the basic version of the T12 the fence is adjusted by a handwheel with a digital display in the control panel, a motorised version which does everything electronically is also available.
The basic machine is also fitted with Martin's tried and tested DornFix quick change system, but the HSK tool-free pneumatic clamping system is also available as an option. The HSK interface allows the T12 to share the tooling many CNC's use, thus allowing this machine to become part of a CNC machining centre.
The basic machine has 5 spindle speeds between 3,000 to 10,000 rpm, but further options allow variable rotation speeds of 1,000 to 12,000 rpm enabling sanding heads or router cutters to be used at their correct speeds. The standard motor is 5.5kW but further upgrades of 7.5kW or 11kW are available. This machine is an affordable entry into the Martin range of spindle moulders and is an effective way to expand manufacturing options in traditional and industrial workshops alike.
