CMT 3000 Ellipse Router Jig

This jig from CMT is designed to enable cutting of ellipses and circles with virtually any make or model of router. It forms an easy and rapid method of cutting ellipses and circles for tables, windows, doors and other circular and elliptically shaped products. Both slideways in the base plate are used when cutting ellipses, by using one slideway only; the jig can be adapted for cutting circles. For the exact and rapid production of ellipses and circles the CMT jig is simple to set-up. The clamping system is suitable for all types of routers. The base plate is made of a special low friction plastic for a really smooth sliding performance. It is precisely machined with T-Slot slideways for the steel sliders. All the metal parts are zinc-coated against corrosion. Supplied with 1 Base plate, 2 Steel sliders, 1 Connector plate, 3 400mm bars, 2 10mm diameter fence rods, spanners and instruction manual. Accessories available include 400mm extension bar for cutting larger radii and 8mm diameter fence rods for use with smaller routers
