Makita LS1214 305mm Mitre Saw

The 305mm diameter blade gives this saw a greater depth capacity, extending its range of use into the construction trades where larger materials are more frequently used. The full pull-over crosscut capacity is a massive 114 x 308mm and the head depth stop gives the ability to cut housings or tenons. The motor is inclined at 45° to give the increased depth of cut as well as good balance which is needed with such a large blade rotating at speed. The head can be rotated either left or right for bevel cutting, a useful feature when making matching compound cuts. This is a very versatile saw which offers both the accuracy required for precision joinery as well as the capacity needed for cutting decking, studwork and rafters. Supplied complete with folding stand, fine tooth TCT saw blade, dust bag, material clamp, RH & LH material supports and service tools.
