Cuts a much thinner line out of material, using much less power SDS or hexagon adaptors
Armeg Thinwall Core Bits
Unlike conventional core bits, these are made with very thin walls and therefore cut a much thinner line out of the material. As a consequence they use much less power and can be used with lighter drills. The pilot drill fits into the end of the adaptor with a spring-loaded ball bearing locator and the core drill then screws onto the adaptor, resulting in a rigid assembly. There is a choice of either SDS or hexagon adaptors, depending on the type of drill being used, and two lengths, 100mm for an overall length of 165mm and 300mm giving an overall length of 365mm. To remove the core bits from the adaptors we recommend the use of the tommy bar with its specially profiled end. Made in Sheffield.
Armeg Core drill
"Bought 45mm core drill, 300mm shaft, 7mm pilot & tommy bar last week to make holes through external cavity walls for waste pipes. Usin standard B&D drill with 1/2 chuck this equipment did a fantastic job. the cores tended to break as I got deeper so were easy to extract & the hole was finished well. Looks like the core drill will do many more holes with no problem."
