This range of high quality precision drill, countersink and plug cutters are made in Austria by a company called ÔFischÕ, and were introduced to the Axminster range in early 2008 to give our customers precision-made accessories that would be reliable and long lasting with many features not readily available to the professional and discerning home user. Hex shank drill and countersink bits are becoming more and more useful, so many people now own a cordless drilling tool; many are fitted with a keyless chuck but some only have a hex fitting.

When we purchase drills or countersink bits, we all expect them to perform and not let us down but invariably end up having to replace them after a short time. With so much choice and range of prices, how can we be sure we are getting a high quality long lasting clean cutting bit? Low cost, poor cutting and frequent replacement is not only frustrating but costly in the long run.

Manufactured from one piece (not cemented or glued) ensures extremely true running, highly tempered drill bit shafts with a hex shank that is machined to ensure optimal grip. All are manufactured to the highest degree to give you a drilling accessory that will perform time and time again giving clean fast true cutting. All drill bit tools are available in the DIN 3126 - E 6.3 standard.

Brad Point Twist Bits - Exceptional clean cutting brad point bits with a ground centre point that has two cutting spurs to scribe the timberÕs surface giving the cleanest possible hole.

Auger Bits - These auger bits have a threaded tip and are precision ground with a cutting spur to give a fast but even clean cut.

Wave Style Forstner Bits - Wave style forstner cutting tip for clean cuts every time. The wave style outer cutting edge scribes the timberÕs surface before cutting cleanly and smoothly.

Plug Cutters - Specially designed plug cutter for hand-held plug drilling, with twin cutters to give a perfectly cylindrical plug in soft and hardwood.

This 13 piece set brings together a range of top quality Fisch accessories for drill and countersinking along with a 1/4Ó quick bit holder.

The set contains 7 drill bits 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm which have 2 cutting spurs on the tip that ensure a very clean cut and two flutes ground to ensure the bit gives a clean, even cut whilst clearing the waste effectively. Countersink sleeves to fit drill sizes 3, 4, 5 and 6 are also supplied, these lock positively onto the drill bit and can be adjusted to suit the length of bit protrusion required. There is also a countersink for metal and a 1/4Ó quick lock bit holder all supplied in a neat plastic case with hex key.

A flexible jig that can be affixed with screws (4mm x 30mm) to the underside of any material that needs to be cut cleanly to a defined line with a bearing guided router cutter or on a spindle moulder with bearing ring guide. Whilst in many instances material could be cut with a jigsaw and sanded or planed this simple but effective jig allows the ultra clean cut of a router cutter or cutter block
to finish the job in one simple cut.

Available in either 1000mm or 3000mm lengths the Flexi jig is an invaluable addition to any joinery workshop either making jigs or cutting material to defined lines. Please note the flexi jig is not supplied with screws.
