Spyderco Ceramic Slip Stones

These Ceramic stones can be used with oil, water or dry without a lubricant. They sharpen and polish at the same time. The pocket stone is 125mm long by 25mm wide. The combination is particularly useful to have around for sharpening knives and small tools and is just as well suited to the kitchen or riverbank as it is to the tool box or workshop. The profile set, again supplied in a leather case, comprises medium and fine 200mm long rods 19mm x 6mm with profiled edges for sharpening innumerable tools, a groove also runs down their length for pointed tools. The fine set is one of four fine grade 125mm long rods, 6mm square, 6mm triangle, 6mm round and 6mm x 13mm heart shaped (again with a groove for pointed tools). This is also supplied in a leather wallet. P.S. Unless you try very hard these ceramic stones are virtually unbreakable, they are far, far less fragile than their oilstone equivalents.
